We are currently offering three peak season varieties: Bossa Nova (mottled skinned Bossa Nova squash has a smooth, succulent texture and mild, sweet flavor), Zephyr (Zephyr has an unusually delicious nutty flavor and firm texture), and Cousa (Cousa, or Lebanese type squash, has superb flavor comparable to two-toned Zephyr summer squash). Husband and wife, George Brittenburg and Ola Creston, owners of Taproot Farms in Berks County, Pennsylvania are strong believers in the power of organic natural farming practices.
