Created as a fundraiser for the New Canaan Food Pantry, and presented by the New Canaan Chamber of Commerce, the Taste of the Town Stroll kicks off with a townwide celebration. Thursday August 22nd, from 6 to 9 p.m., participating retailers, restaurants and eateries will open their doors to the public and offer free hors d’oeuvres, desserts and drinks.
The price of entry is a nonperishable food donation to the food pantry — donated on the night of the stroll or purchased at Walter Stewart’s Market. We’re offering two specially-priced donation totes. You may bring your donation tote with you to the stroll or we’ll deliver it for you to the NC Food Pantry. Just keep the receipt – it will be your ticket to the New Canaan Stroll.  Last year together we were able to donate 110 donation totes to the New Canaan Food Pantry for local families in need!
