Sidewalk Sale (Village Fair)
Saturday, July 19th: 9am – 5pm
Sponsored annually for almost 50 years by the Chamber of Commerce, actually has roots in the 1920’s, when merchants put their wares on the sidewalks for sale.
The fair offers local residents and regional visitors an action packed, bargain filled, entertaining, and delicious way to spend a summer day in one of the most charming towns in Connecticut. The event has tons of activities planned and the merchants pull out all the stops!
Sure, there’s a little inventory spring cleaning going on, where many of the best deals spawn from, but some merchant’s have specifically ordered their customers’ favorite items to be sold at discounted prices for just that day. There will be entertainment in all shapes and sizes!
Look for Walter Stewart’s farm stand on Elm Street with great deals on the best local produce!
And Fun Entertainment for the whole family!
